the TeaserClasses are tailored to each student's style of learning. Edward Correa has been thoroughly trained on the beginner, intermediate and advanced systems and knows how to coordinate a personalized Pilates workout that will benefit each individual.

Edward’s primary concern is always safety, and he is well versed on how to modify and tailor a program for different levels of fitness and for those who currently have or are recovering from injury.



Getting Started

New clients begin with a series of private sessions. This initial group of sessions is important in setting the basic foundation for Pilates work. Clients learn each exercise with proper form and alignment, as well as any modifications that might be appropriate. Through careful one-on-one teaching, clients learn the order of the exercises, the principles of Pilates, equipment set-up, and the system of exercises that is right for their body and their personal fitness goals.

Private Sessions

Private sessions are composed of both apparatus and matwork and allow the instructor to develop a customized system of exercises to address each client's needs, goals, and previous injuries.

More advanced clients benefit from one-on-one instruction to improve precision, add new exercises to their workout program, work on a specific issue, or work on rehabilitation from injury.


Semi - Private Sessions

Semi-private sessions compliment the work of private sessions, allowing two or three clients to workout at the same time on the apparatus. Intermediate to advanced level Clients combine semi-private sessions with their private sessions and mat workouts.

Mat Classes

Intermediate & Beginner Matwork
Proper matwork technique is the foundation of Joseph Pilates's work. Mat classes are offered and are available after the first 5 private sessions, depending on client ability. Each class is 45 minutes and designed to progress a small group along the continuum of the intermediate-level matwork. The mat class is focused on proper breathing technique and alignment, and is intended to compliment private sessions to ensure results. The mat classes also help clients to develop a solid home-practice routine.

Advanced Mat
For advanced clients and instructors. A very challenging hour of pure advanced matwork.

Cardio Mat
Cardio Mat is a fast-paced advanced mat class geared for those intent on improving their endurance and cardiovascular performance.

Policies

  • Sessions are by appointment only.
  • Pre-registration and prepayment are required.
  • You will be charged for your session unless you cancel online, or by phone, at least 24 hours in advance.
  • All packages are pre-paid, non-refundable, and valid for one year from time of purchase.

Attending Sessions

Please come 5 minutes early to your first session to fill out a registration form. Be prepared to work in socks. Wear comfortable leggings or shorts, and a T-shirt or leotard. For your own comfort, do not eat heavily two hours before your session. Please do not wear perfume or heavy jewelry.
